Hey, would one you do us a solid and check to see if Hell froze over?
Surely at least the gates are a little frosty after this tweet from Kurt Eichenwald giving props to President Trump for pardoning Jack Johnson.
When Trump does something right, it should be recognized. His posthumous pardon of boxer Jack Johnson was long overdue. Previous presidents should have done it. One of the historical stains on this country has been removed.

Color us shocked, Kurt.
And judging from the reactions on this thread, the Resistance was equally as shocked as we were, but for a different reason.
Look at this butthurt:
Because for @realDonaldTrump, the only good black man is a dead black man. #jackjohnson

Dude, really?
C’mon.
Yet on the same day he told NFL players who kneel to leave the country. This gesture rings hollow given his treatment of people of color – and especially athletes of color – who are alive and breathing.

This is why you never, ever try to appease the Left. It’s never enough for them.
Sorry no- he erased this moment by saying football players who kneel should leave the country.

See what we mean?
He only gave Johnson the pardon because Sylvester Stallone convinced him to do it. Before Stallone explained who Jack Johnson was Trump probably knew nothing about him. The pardon was long overdue, but the motive behind the pardon is a joke.

Honest question: should we be cheering a good act even tho we know Trumps intentions probably aren’t honorable? It was the right thing for a decent man to do, but I can’t help feeling that this was just a prop for Donald trump. Shouldn’t intent matter?

The man could cure cancer and these schmucks would complain about the oncologists he put out work.
PLEASE, this was a photo op only.
Let's see him pardon one of the black men or women currently in prison thanks to TRUMPED up charges.— UnderDuressintheU.S. (@overrhypocrissy) May 24, 2018
Sheesh, if it was just a photo-op Obama would have been all over this.
With a selfie.
Oh please. He did it to offset claims of bigotry against him, which are true.

They still can’t figure out this crap is why Trump won.
And will win again in 2020.
