Suing Chris Kyle's widow doesn't pay off for Ventura

Former Governor Jesse Ventura is having a terrible, horrible, no-good very bad day. A federal appeals court has thrown out his $1.8 million judgement which he was previously awarded for claiming he had been defamed by the late Chris Kyle in his book, “American Sniper.”

Broken down, the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the jury’s 2014 award of $500,000 for defamation and $1.3 million for unjust enrichment saying it fails as a matter of law. Suing a widow also fails as a matter of humanity, but we digress.

Jesse Ventura’s Twitter feed was not immediately available for comment.
