George Karl, the NBA’s seventh-winningest head coach, has joined Twitter to raise cancer awareness.
The 61-year-old Karl has been a huge proponent in the fight against the disease after twice being diagnosed, once in 2005 for prostate cancer, and again in 2010 for throat cancer.
Karl, the current Denver Nuggets coach, is asking for help from his fellow NBA personalities to gain more traction for his cause by asking them to help him get followers.
Something tells us he won’t need much assistance.
teamwork would help so I can get some more followers @SteveHess1 @gallinari8888 @KennethFaried35 @TyLawson3 @cheddahcheese7 @AAA_afflalo
