The NFL players have finally decided to strike back at the league, accusing the NFL of concealing information linking football-related injuries to long-term brain damage in a suit filed this morning by more than 2,000 former players.
According to this ABC News report, the former players allege that the “NFL exacerbated the health risk by promoting the game’s violence” and “deliberately and fraudulently” misled players about the link between concussions and long-term brain injuries.
The NFL denies the claims, saying, “Any allegation that the NFL intentionally sought to mislead players has no merit.”
Just…wow.

All this focus on concussions in the NFL makes me wonder about the more fragmented, less visible College Football programs

If concussions are being blamed for former NFL player suicides, why haven't we seen more cases with former professional boxers?
