The BBC and other outlets report this afternoon that Meriam Ibrahim, the Sudanese Christian mother of two who was sentenced to die for refusing to renounce her faith, will be released. With conditions. Ibrahim gave birth last week in shackles. Her American husband flew back to Sudan to protest her death sentence. The government of Sudan is giving her two years to nurse her newborn.
