@nobamanoway They seriously need help.

What sparked that? Well, Matt Harrington, a CEO at a threat detection company (no, for serious) posted on Facebook that he was going to kill President-elect Donald Trump. Several times:

The CEO couldn’t get away with that one, apparently.

The Hill reports that the twisted soul who made the death threats was first put on “administrative leave” (ooooh, how scary!) and subsequently resigned. Do you believe the apology from the company?
“We want to be very clear, PacketSled does not condone the comments made by Mr. Harrigan, which do not reflect the views or opinions of the company, its employees, investors or partners,” the statement read.
Hmm. But, he was a head of the company, so it DID reflect the views. Plus, this:

Good Lord. Could he not detect HIMSELF? Could no one else at the company detect it either?
However, the company also said this when they put him on leave:
“PacketSled takes recent comments made by our CEO, seriously. Once we were made aware of these comments, we immediately reported this information to the secret service and will cooperate fully with any inquiries,” the first statement read.
If true, good on them for reporting immediately to the secret service. The “administrative leave” thing was still lame, though. But, likely had to do with company “cover your ass before firing someone” bureaucracy.

That’s not funny, because it’s true. And this time, some of the “temper tantrums” are potentially deadly.
