Ha! As Twitchy reported, the Spite House attempted to shut down Mt. Rushmore with traffic cones. This was, of course, totally indicative of the vindictive nature of President Stompy Foot.
However, it also raises another point. The science is settled: The Spite House could also be called the Stupid House. Um. How exactly are traffic cones supposed to stop people from viewing a mountain? They do still have eyes.
Anatomy is hard. That vision stuff is oh-so-tricky!
Mt Rushmore closed due to shutdown. Gov of SD offered personnel and funds to help keep it open but was refused. Still see shrine from road.
