Amen!
Actor James Woods has discovered the power of Twitter. But that’s not all: He is continuing to speak real truth to power.
.@RealJamesWoods is delivering steaming helpings of hot truth. Long live the new flesh. #caring
— Kurt Schlichter (@KurtSchlichter) July 20, 2013
As Twitchy reported, the actor took on the despicable terror-glamorizing mag Rolling Stone and publisher Jann Wenner with an epic rant. He also slammed Obama as only he can.
Woods is now not only rightly blasting media bias, but liberal lockstep in general.
@RealStevenR77 Well, that is troubling. That the media has been so co-opted by one school of thought is cause for concern
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
@amp1429 well, people are entitled to their political preferences. It's the overwhelming lockstep Liberalism that sickens.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 19, 2013
@behmor The antidote to that is to remember my favorite mantra: Facts are Friendly…
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
Heh. Yes, but facts are often hard for the Left.
@KenZimmern @bgc558 Conservatives in Hollywood must whisper if they want to keep their jobs. Liberal bias is truly vicious from some.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
@SarahBGreene1 @CJ1984 Yeah, I live near you. RI is Liberal and the place is, of course, falling apart. Why is that?
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
Zing!
@maelani Thanks. Although I am able to have respectful political conversations with Sean Penn and Alec Baldwin behind closed doors
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013

@JENin140 More people in my business are reasonable conservative thinkers, but cannot afford to be blacklisted. I can afford the risk.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
@NJ_libertarian Oh, I'm sticking my neck out. I probably won't ever work again, but so be it. And thanks for your compliment.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
Woods comments with frankness on a number of issues. His entire feed, including his replies to liberals, is a must- read. But, here is a quick sampling:
@RandallHoven Good morning. I looked at your statistic on weapons. Btw only difference in gun deaths and abortions is the number of zeroes.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
@josewillis Im the populace who elects him and pays his salary. Without me he can't exist. I'm a United States citizen. He works for me.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
Bam! The actor has no patience for foul race-baiters either.
@zaswadosaze I can't disagree with a person's fiscal policies without being a racist??!! Come on, you're being silly. That's irrational.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 20, 2013
@lovelyladypa Honestly that is so ridiculous. What is wrong with you? So vicious and honestly stupid and frankly racist on YOUR part.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
@gatorboy @kesgardner I travel a lot for work, and I honestly find a more inherent racism in the North than South. Just my own observation
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
@zaswadosaze I am only interested in one racial issue: how to give all people economic opportunities to master their own lives.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 20, 2013
Double amen.
The actor weighed in on Benghazi, Eric Holder and Hillary Clinton as well. Hint: More truth to power.
@JosephMRyan1 @KODawgE5 Thanks for keeping memory of those abandoned at Benghazi alive. And for your service.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
@Dukeoftralee Eric Holder calls us a "nation of cowards." Only cowards in the USA are those who let our diplomats die undefended in Benghazi
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
@hammetjohn Benghazi is a cancer not to be cured with a bandaid. Clinton will not be able to sweep this atrocity under the rug.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
Golf clap.
He then followed-up on his epic rant against Rolling Stone. And it was beautiful:
Christian Hoard, senior editor of RS, made a joke about the cover, issued a corporate apology… http://t.co/ZfLvhl9pxN
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
The fact that Christian Hoard used a sexual reference in his joke about their onerous cover is appalling http://t.co/ZfLvhl9pxN
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
That’s right: An editor for Rolling Stone deleted a tweet that said, “I guess we should have drawn a dick on Dzhokhar’s face.“
I'm sure Christian Board's completely insincere corporate apology was issued at the point of a bayonet from the sales department at RS
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
When will the savages at RS comprehend that people who lost loved ones are HURT by RS's idolatry of the Bomber and their jokes about cover?
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
I wonder if Jann Wenner is sitting around in a caftan, sipping Bellinis and reading glory days editions of his failing rag right now?
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
@RightDame Ivory tower doltish, if that is indeed the case. Finally I think it's probably just rich elitist limousine Liberal callousness.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
@StickeeNotes You put it so succinctly. It makes me wonder why we are wasting time on this old dinosaur. Because it hurt so many needlessly?
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
@coxster They loathe people like that. Not "sexy" enough.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
@Interradeserta @RollingStone's demise is truly a matter of the bean counters taking over. Wenner has eaten too much caviar.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
@ImaLindatoo yes, they are organized and fanatically devoted to their agenda. We are not.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
Bingo.
Woods just recently started tweeting up a (glorious) storm.
https://twitter.com/TeaPartyStance/statuses/358948738238128130
@TeaPartyStance I just started a few days ago in earnest.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
Well, I vowed if I were ever on Twitter, I would NEVER talk politics. That worked out pretty good…
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) July 21, 2013
Oh, it did. Please don’t stop!
@RealJamesWoods That's why I appreciate it so much, you're putting your own well-being on the line. #Patriotism@AdamBaldwin @yesnicksearcy
— NJJDB (@NJJDB) July 21, 2013
Fellow conservative actor Nick Searcy (and Twitter user extraordinaire) won’t back down either.

Twitter users hope the truth-talking continues.
@Onelifetogive @BradThor add @RealJamesWoods to the small list. He isn't afraid to stand for the truth.
— Mandy ☕??? (@SpringSteps) July 21, 2013
@RealJamesWoods God bless you for having the balls to speak the truth!
— Tommy (@daddy_tbone) July 21, 2013
@RealJamesWoods Keep it up man! The truth is what everyone needs right now more than ever!
— Dave Thomas (@Daveman79) July 21, 2013
@RealJamesWoods Thank you for speaking your mind…and telling the truth.
— carol martin (@caroljd) July 21, 2013
@RealJamesWoods You're amongst friends… its all good! Keep on speaking the truth!

@RealJamesWoods It's refreshing to have any voice that doesn't echo the rest. Stay strong, brother.
