As Twitchy reported yesterday, the devastating Waldo Canyon fire is spreading and more and more evacuation orders are being issued. Even just a scant few years ago, spreading the word would have been much more difficult. And people in other parts of the country would either be unaware or would have received only the most cursory of reports.
Not so today. Social media, particularly Twitter, is helping to spread the word.
#WaldoCanyonFire please look for updates regarding the fire in the Waldo Canyon Area using the tag #WaldoCanyonFire.
