Listen to 'Pink Pony Club' by Chappell Roan just once, and it’ll lodge itself in your brain as the ultimate earworm, looping all day long. It’s a lively, upbeat track that practically forces you to dance. Her follow-up, 'Hot to Go,' is just as infectious—perfect for pumping you up during a workout. But while her songs radiate joy, Roan herself seems anything but. Her latest complaint? She claims all her friends with kids are miserable

"Life’s taught me one clear lesson: like attracts like. If you’re miserable, you’ll find yourself surrounded by miserable people. That seems to fit Chappell Roan perfectly. Beneath her catchy, upbeat songs hides a young woman brimming with anger, always ready to lash out.

This isn't the only time she has behaved this way to the photographers attempting to make her look at her events.

She’s perpetually angry, so it’s no shock that her friends with kids are just as sullen and unhappy. Kids or no kids, they’d likely be the same—because children aren’t a cure-all. They’re wonderful, but they won’t patch up a broken person. Before having kids, fix yourself first and ensure you’re with someone you’d actually want to raise them with. If not, walk away. Sure, some people rise to the occasion and grow into better versions of themselves when a child arrives—most of us probably do—but it’s not a gamble worth taking. Marry someone who’s already a good person before you start a family. That applies to men and women alike.
I have 4. They’re an incredible burden. They make life worth living. https://t.co/tavOKZwokR

Raising kids is tough. It’s costly, demanding everything a parent has to give—putting their needs first and your own wants on hold, at least for a time. Yet it’s the greatest thing I’ve ever done. When I’m gone, the only legacy that’ll matter is the humans I raised. And I’m proud of that.

I have 2 teen boys. They are great kids. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it.

No doubt, Ms. Roan runs in a crowd that is too selfish to be good parents.
At least 25% of parents shouldn't be. They aren't emotionally or mentally capable of doing the job. https://t.co/wgE0gukXM9
I for one am shocked that this "queer" megalib popstar doesn't have any healthy relationships with normal people https://t.co/LaOuf3yIeB

It seems that way to her because she mistakes self-indulgence for happiness. She only understands a shallow, fleeting sort of happiness. I don’t know any childless people who seem truly happy. https://t.co/tkU4q3ldc1

At life’s end, few yearn for more vacations, spa days, or even time with their dog. What most crave is their children nearby, knowing they were loved. That’s real happiness and fulfillment.
