Listen, I know Justice Amy Coney Barrett has been a bit of a disappointment lately. Some of her decisions have been head scratchers for sure. Nevertheless, it is a GOOD thing for Supreme Court Justices to get along. It is preferable for them to trust each other and respect each other as people. The court should not be a political body, no matter how much the Left would like it to be. For those who have yet to hear the latest uproar, here is a quick primer:

Justice Amy Coney Barrett arranged Hamilton songs for Ketanji Brown Jackson’s welcome party (Business Insider, 8/29/23). This contradicts Trump’s intent to appoint a conservative justice. Her actions suggest a liberal shift, undermining her original judicial philosophy. #SCOTUS… pic.twitter.com/giRnh2paGE

It seems weird until you read what a child of a deceased Supreme Court Justice has to say.
Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett revealed this week that she threw a welcome party for the court's newest member, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, and arranged for someone to sing songs from the hit Broadway musical "Hamilton" at the bash, according to a report.

He did his best to clear it all up for Twitter today. As a reminder, Anton Scalia was known to be friends with RBG and they did not agree on much politically and philosophically.
It’s also perfectly acceptable, some would say common, even, to be friends or at least friendly with someone who doesn’t align with every single one of your beliefs. https://t.co/aXBvI4VhOy pic.twitter.com/7eyVH2D9eC

He’s right. How insane have we become as a society that we can’t do something for others even when it’s not our thing https://t.co/fmByiXNkc2

It is certainly not a great commentary on our society. That is for certain.

In many ways, she is. Just not for this reason.

I honestly can't believe we're even having a debate about Amy Coney Barrett is some lefty sleeper agent. It's insanity.

All of America should take some time this weekend to touch grass.
