If there is one thing all Republicans can agree on, it should be this ... if Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis come together to support something, all conservatives should get behind it and support it. That happened today.
President-elect Trump was elected with a mandate to stop illegal immigration and deport illegal aliens already in our country.

Governor DeSantis wanted the Florida Legislature to come back for a special session to get right to work.
Today, I called for a special session of the Florida legislature the week of January 27 to prepare Florida to lead on the Trump Administration’s deportation program. We will allocate resources and ensure state and local officials in Florida are supporting these efforts.

The Republicans have a super majority in the Florida legislature so this should be a no brainer, right? Not so fast.
We can’t wait MONTHS. Florida needs to start the mass deportations as soon as President Trump takes office because he will allow states to do that. Exactly why @GovRonDeSantis called the special session today. Time to get rid of the illegals!!! https://t.co/3y89X44MnZ

Shockingly, a bunch of Republican lawmakers started whining about gas money and other nonsense and the leadership of the Republican legislature declined the special session.

What exactly is premature? Are they unclear about what Donald Trump ran on to win this last election overwhelmingly? Honeslty, it's been a long time coming.
Crazy that the Governor’s staff is so incompetent that I have to read the call on @X. They haven’t even emailed it to us. https://t.co/9CkZ4BTo7O

Randy Fine pitched a real hissy fit. It would be easier to just go to work.

Just do what the Governor and President want you to do, Florida lawmakers. It really isn't that hard.
Respectfully, I disagree. These four state-wide issues outlined by @GovRonDeSantis are pressing and time sensitive.

The sooner we tackle these issues, the better.
Florida should always lead from the front, especially on illegal immigration issues. https://t.co/XMsqgYHRCk
What is wrong with Florida GOP legislators? I don't like to throw around the RINO term, but my goodness, this isn't looking good. The President and your Governor want you to get to work. The people of your state want you to get to work. Get to work!

Trump made it clear he’s coordinating with DeSantis to implement his agenda on day one. RINOs like @Daniel_PerezFL @Sen_Albritton @JoeGruters need to do their jobs or get out of the way. Stop impeding the will of the voters. pic.twitter.com/xGtjpLAjz4

There is no excuse for Florida's Republicans undermining the wishes of both President Trump and Governor DeSantis. This is inexcusable behavior and they should be ashamed of their RINO antics.
