For days now, I have argued with progressives and even some conservatives about the sham happening in women's boxing at the Paris Olympics. It's been a bit of a confusing journey. To begin with, people were claiming the two boxers in question were transgender. Right away, they claimed that was false. As Algeria is a very strict Muslim majority country and does not allow transgenderism, people tended to believe their protests.

Supporters even shared pictures of the Algerian boxer as a child wearing pink, allegedly. The next rumor was the boxers had failed testosterone testing, which can be somewhat unreliable as some women have higher levels of the hormone. Others made the odd claim that because this boxer may have lived the early years of his childhood believing he was a girl, he should just be allowed to box because he loves it and stuff. What?

Of course it is sad the child was misgendered for the early part of his childhood. Lots of people face unfair childhood health crises but we don't allow them to beat up women at the Olympics to make up for it.

It has now been clarified both men underwent genetic testing. They both were found to have XY chromosomes. They are men. Likely, they had a deformity at birth making it appear they did not have male sex organs. Once they reached puberty, however, they would have known they were male. Particularly for the Algerian boxer, the incentives to box and be very very good at it, compelled both he and his coaches to lie. In one match recently, he earned 10,000 dollars, twice the annual salary in his country. In the meantime, we have subjected countless women to beatings by men and progressives swear this is 'progress'. If this is equality for women, count me out.
