One thing Republicans are going to do, is eat our own. If the press starts attacking a Republican, about half of the party will start to agree with the press. Democrats don't do this. They circle the wagons. We circle around and start throwing stones. Such is the case with J.D. Vance as of late. He really isn't made for sound bites. That makes it hard to be a retail politician. I wrote about it yesterday on my Twitter account.
J.D. Vance is one of those people who spends a great deal of time thinking about society and how it best can work for people. He was reared in such an extreme situation and only other people who have experienced abject poverty and dysfunction and then made it out, will understand…

Basically, I explained why J.D. Vance is getting the label of 'weird'. He is weird. Regular people don't sit around thinking about societal issues and the best way for the community to support families on a daily basis. Because he was reared in crisis, he knows the consequences of homes that are not stable. He knows ultimately, if the American family crumbles, so follows the culture. We are watching it happen in real time.
Great piece. It's unfortunate that the same trends that make long form political discussion so difficult also cause people to pass over well-written posts like this.

It'll only take a minute of your time, and I assure you it's well worth it. https://t.co/Q55dTdhFAM
Americans prefer politicians who are flashy and make us feel cozy. The ones who are charismatic and charming over the deep thinker. It's the reason we are in our current predicament. We have showmen running the government rather than people who contemplate outcomes. It's a bit like high school honestly. Everyone is enamored by the high school quarter back, but when all those students grow up, you realize you really should have dated the nerd.
I actually saw a few clips of JD Vance talking recently and I genuinely thought 'Oh he sounds very normal and reasonable.' I had not heard him talk before T_T

That whole campaign of trying to make out like this guy is some kind of freak and geek is not going to work at all, he seems like the most approachable person in US politics in the last two decades

Honestly, the best plan is for the Trump campaign to allow the public to hear more of Vance. Right now, the corporate media is crafting his image. The Trump campaign needs to push back before it's too late.
Seems like an interesting clip, but I'd like if it didn't cut off so quickly. I can think of different things Vance might mean by this & some are more insane than others. If the context backs up the soundbite, we should hear it. If not... we should know that too.

That's exactly what the Kamala campaign wants. They don't want you to hear the context of Vance's remarks. They want to cut his comment off mid sentence and make it appear he hates women. It's a game.
JD Vance essentially said the tax code should incentivize people to have kids and that weirdo cat ladies are the worst and they’ve been going on about it for a week. Both statements were true.

Once again, he isn't talking about all women who do not have children. He was referring to a certain type of Leftist women and they are, indeed, a scourge on society.
