Gag! The New York Post Attempts to Convince American Women to Embrace 'Babygirl' Men

Leila Navidi/Star Tribune via AP

I must preface this with the fact I am a woman of a particular age (in her 40's), so I am not the demographic targeted here, but if this is true, I mourn for this next generation. I do not need a man more prissy than me. If someone is going to have emotional meltdowns, it is going to be me.

Being “so babygirl” is the hottest compliment — for men.

A 26-year-old, 6-foot-5 man isn’t what comes to mind for most Americans when they think of a baby girl,  but it is for Gen Z.

Jacob Elordi, 26, was deemed “so babygirl” during his promotion as host of “Saturday Night Live” in January when musical guest Reneé Rapp and cast member Bowen Yang made the decree.

The Australian actor has joined the ranks of other heartthrobs — including Pedro Pascal, Timothée Chalamet and “The White Lotus” actor Leo Woodall — being associated with the moniker, leading to confusion for some and crushes for others.

A new definition of the term “babygirl” has recently been adopted, remaining as a term of endearment but expanding to include a specific type of swoon-worthy man.

A man who is “babygirl” comes across as sweet, charming, a bit bashful and seemingly in touch with their feminine side, ready to talk about their feelings or carry a purse to brunch at any point.

It’s exactly what women want and men want to become — the antithesis of toxic macho masculinity.

Perhaps, this is what some women want, but I submit, women should want a man who can swing a hammer and hang up a towel bar. Trust me on this.

Absolutely. A gay best friend is great for shopping and gossiping. They are not so great for being married to if you are a woman. Why is this a difficult concept?

This. Exactly. Most women need men to behave in ways seen as 'masculine' in order to honor and respect them.  Women want to feel protected and safe.

I refuse to share my purse or shoe budget with my husband. Sorry.

No matter how much media and Leftist institutions try to push them down our throats, the harder real women will push back. We do not want the girly men.
