Glimpses From the Iowa Caucus ... the Superbowl for Political Wonks

AP Photo/Charlie Neibergall

It's the weekend before the Iowa Caucus. For a political wonk like me, this is my Superbowl. My second favorite thing is fashion, so the looks from Iowa are also so fascinating to me. It's particularly cold, so winter fashion has been exciting for a Floridian like me. I wanted to do a bit of a round up of some of my favorite 'views' from Iowa so far. Let's start off with a 'View of Vivek':

A bit of a pushup challenge with some football players.

A matching T-shirt moment that ended up making Trump REALLY mad.

Very, very mad.

The very heart warming video of Ron DeSantis' Mom braving the snow and knocking on doors on his behalf.

Laura Loomer chasing Christina Pushaw and Ron DeSantis all around Iowa. It's very strange.

A whole lot of ice!

Many dedicated campaign surrogates!

Trump arriving in Iowa and confirming it is very cold!

Floridians are having a major shock to the system, but continuing to smile!

People out in the snow, in campaign offices and on TV sharing their candidate stories.

I hope you enjoyed this little snippet of Iowa. Be thankful for this process that gives Americans a say. Be grateful for the men and women who are keeping the roads clear with the ploughs. Finally, let's send our prayers to all the precinct workers. It's very cold and they don't have an easy job.
