Full disclosure before we begin, I really like Dr. Rand Paul. First of all, he is from Kentucky. My beloved Daddy was also from Kentucky, and I still have family there who I think are very cool. Secondly, he stood up to Dr. Fauci and rightly called him out as a lying liar who lies. With that out of the way, I am going to give my opinion on who I think Rand Paul will endorse tomorrow.
I’ve stayed out of the Republican Presidential Primary so far - but I’ve seen enough.

That’s why tomorrow morning I will have something important to say.
Don’t miss it! pic.twitter.com/HBnMnSy4Bc
It's possible, he is pulling our legs and he won't endorse anyone at all. He is a fun guy so I can see this just being a ploy for some other announcement he plans to make. It may be a speech about all the division in the party and how we need to all come together and support the nominee. It's possible. Then, there is this.
Rand Paul Hits Donald Trump and Republican Colleagues in Holiday Rant.

Paul also took aim at the likes of Senator Josh Hawley, presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, Neocons, as well as Trump.https://t.co/J9ajuDF0z8
So when was anyone going to tell me that there was another member of the Cheney family? People complain about the fact that Nikki Haley doesn't use the name given to her at birth, but I didn't know she was trying to hide her full neocon pedigree all these years. Speaking of birth certificates, who is going to tell President Trump that trying to kick people off the ballot for spurious reasons sometimes comes back to bite you in the rear...," Paul wrote about the former president.
So, around the holiday, Rand did take a bit of a jab at Trump over his 'birth certificate' thing with Obama. Also, Trump allowed Fauci a whole lot of leeway.
Paul and Fauci have had a contentious relationship marked by disputes concerning the COVID-19 pandemic’s origins and vaccination policies. Paul has accused the former infectious disease expert of making contradictory statements about the virus’ origin, both publicly and privately, which he contends amounts to lying to Congress.
Because of his distaste for Fauci, it's possible Paul would decide he was unable to endorse Trump. One would think.I am among the people who do not think Rand Paul will put himself out there for barbed arrows from Trump and half of the Republican base. I think he'll put aside his misgivings about the vaccine and Fauci, and endorse Trump. I think he'll say Trump is who the party wants and it's time to fall in line.
This is awesome — @JeremyRedfernFL, press secretary at @GovRonDeSantis office, was mentioned in @RandPaul’s book for his posts about NIH trying to memory hole the definition of gain-of-function! pic.twitter.com/27MhTFxCyj

I could be wrong. Rand mentioned Ron DeSantis' Press Secretary in his recent book. Clearly, he has some affection for the Governor's work.

Had a wonderful talk with @RandPaul this morning about issues we share in common — restoring free speech and ending forever wars, chronic disease epidemics, agency capture, and government waste. pic.twitter.com/VwdQSHBH45

The last option is RFK. Kennedy is running as an Independent and he and Rand had a tete a tete yesterday. Was that a sign of things to come? It wouldn't be unthinkable, but that would be a betrayal to the GOP and I don't think Paul is up for that. I do not think Haley or Vivek are even considerations to Dr. Paul.
To wrap it up, I think he likes to leave little carrots for all us bunnies, but he will do the inevitable easy thing and endorse Trump tomorrow. Poltiicans generally do the least aggravating thing and move on. I don't think this will be a break from that norm.
