The Response to October 7th By Both Sides of the Aisle Has Been Disconcerting and Disheartening

Yesterday, we told you about Mayim Blalik, host of 'Jeopardy' and star of 'Big Bang Theory' and her pain in discovering so many 'progressive' friends were not offering their support after the events of October 7. Blalik is Jewish and expected the same love and care she has shown to other 'progressive' causes over the years. That hasn't happened. Her progressive friends have instead supported the 'Free Palestine' movement. That has left her feeling abandoned and alone.

Today, Dr. Sheila Nazarian responded. She started out by saying she likes Blalik. I think most people do. It would be hard not to love such a beloved character. She then went on to say she could have told Blalik her progressive friends would turn on her. She said, in fact, she had tried to say all of this to the Jewish community over the years. She shared her experience growing up in places not America showed her these people would always turn on you. She suggested people actually read the material for 'Black Lives Matter'. They would quickly see Jewish people could not expect their support.

Sadly, it hasn't been just the left who abandoned the Jewish people. There were 'Deniers' on the right as well.

Morgan Ariel who describes herself as a 'lioness for Jesus Christ' and a 'TPUSA Ambassador', Charlie Kirk's organization, denied the death of Shani Louk for days. She has also retweeted information such as this.

As you can see, there are plenty on the 'Right' denying the horrors the Jewish people are experiencing. When God said all nations would turn against Israel, perhaps we are seeing what He meant come to fruition. I just choose not to be counted among the numbers questioning the deaths of Jewish women at a music rally or marching with the 'Free Palestine' movement rather than comforting my Jewish friends.

The Bible tells us, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.' Let me be one of the few who finds it.
