Admittedly, these last few days have felt a bit disorienting for me. I always saw the Republican party as the party who stands with Israel. The party that understood the importance of the Jewish people having their own nation state after what they've endured through time and immemorial. Then, October 7 happened. The Jewish people faced their worst tragedy since the Holocaust. We watched as whole families were murdered, beautiful and happy young women were raped at a musical festival, old women were brutalized and then people were kidnapped. I expected there to be this outcry in support of Israel and their right to defend themselves and enact revenge. That is what we would demand as Americans. There was some of that, of course. I highlighted one in the speech by Senator Katie Britt. Then came the naysayers. I expected that nonsense from the members of 'The Squad'. That is how Democrats behave, after all. What I didn't expect was the 'whataboutism' from those in conservative media.
I used to be quite fond of TRHL & Cassandra. I’m honestly at a loss. I’m so sorry, @bethanyshondark. This behavior is beyond disgusting. pic.twitter.com/z7QzWRAdJ6

First of all, one of Tim Pool's staff and 'The Red Headed Libertarian' mocking Bethany Mandel, a Jewish conservative writer and political commentator who happens to personally know people lost in the October 7 massacre. Bethany has also actively worked to platform Jewish people with stories to share in the Media over the last two weeks, and as she has small children at home, they are bound to overhear the stories. Of course, Cassandra and The Readed Headed woman find it all so hilarious.
Lady, she’s praising Hamas para gliders who beheaded Jewish babies and raped women while parading their dead bodies on the street… if you want to say that’s “pro-Palestinian” that’s a choice
— Ahmed Al Asliken 🕋☪️✈️ (@assliken) October 23, 2023
A terrible choice.
Who booked Nick Fuentes and Kanye West???
— Alec Sears (@alec_sears) October 23, 2023
Cassandra.
That's a great question. Then, there were more tweets at Tim Pool.
Tim, you just had Lauren Witzke on your show.
— Gabe Hoffman (@GabeHoff) October 23, 2023
She's a virulent Jew hater, recently claimed the U.S. gov't is occupied by Zionists (ZOG), Jews in media are "foreign agents".
Is this the kind of person you want to platform?
If not, you need to make staff changes. https://t.co/bYPhQ1UGyh pic.twitter.com/AwuoFNv8Bf
Y’all see what’s happening with this lady right pic.twitter.com/jiXJ8JB5Kz

How many Jews have been booked on timcast since she took over as booker?
— Bethany S. Mandel (@bethanyshondark) October 22, 2023
I had to blog this. This is insane. One of the Reporters Spearheading the @nytimes Coverage of the War In the Middle East Loves Hitler And the Nazi’s. (No Really) https://t.co/JxOPXQQ11K

Then, a building on a church property in Gaza was bombed and unfortunately civilians were killed. This, after Israel gave days of warning to the people in Gaza to leave the area. The blame of course lays with Hamas as they store their munitions in civilian areas. Charlie Kirk, however, decided to lecture his audience about not being mad enough at .... Israel. If the Canadian military had para-glided into Michigan and raped and killed 1,400 people, America would retaliate and it would not matter if civilians were lost. That's the price of war.
Until now I've refrained from tweeting about the damage done to the 12th-century Greek Orthodox church of St Porphyrius in Gaza. After last week’s hospital fiasco, I wanted to wait for more facts to be established. But it now seems confirmed that Israel did actually bomb a…

Well said, Charlie. I have been disgusted by the propagandists pretending a Christian church was not bombed.
— Candace Owens (@RealCandaceO) October 23, 2023
Christians were killed.
No Christian should stay silent. https://t.co/KoB9HYKxsK
Then, Candace Owen weighed in. Of course, Christians should mourn the loss of other Christians. As a Christian, my heart breaks. I do know where to place the blame, though. It's not at the feet of Israel. None of this would have ever happened had Hamas not attacked innocent Israelis. Period.
The IDF stated it was a command and control center belonging to Hamas.
— Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) October 23, 2023
Hamas is known to use civilians as human shields—including Christians. https://t.co/gX0DgeDqWP
This is nothing more than a pathetic attempt by Charlie Kirk to placate anti-Semites within the GOP.
— Tater🦅🇺🇸🐊 (@Floridagirl0850) October 23, 2023
Notice how he never once mentions that Israel warned everyone in the area for a full week that they needed to evacuate.
He also apparently does not know how to read as its been… https://t.co/jFHQsqkBki
You can mourn the death of innocent civilians without pretending Israel is responsible for those deaths.
It is unfortunate the savages that run everything in Gaza think that a historic orthodox church is disposable, but Charlie face it: when they’re done with the Jews they’re coming for the Christians. They don’t care. There’s a reason why they put launchers there. https://t.co/xd32lzTyv3

Both you and @MattWalshBlog could cut ties with your current orgs and start your own. Doing so you can redeem yourselves and save so many Americans from the Zionist brainwashing that has destroyed America.
— Lucas Gage (@Lucas_Gage_) October 23, 2023
You will have even more followers than every before, as many are tired… https://t.co/kzlqRFoYij
This is an example of the people they are winking at with these kind of tweets. Maybe I was naive and did not realize the GOP was so rampant with this type of thinking.
I’ve heard from so many people they can’t say what is in their heart about what happened on 10/7 for fear of offending anyone. In the shadow of unbelievable courageous stories about so many that risked and gave their lives to save others, I’m disgusted by the cowardice of people…
— Bethany S. Mandel (@bethanyshondark) October 23, 2023
So, this was me saying what was on my heart. It was a bit disjointed but I'm so angry and sad and lost. I really hope the GOP is not headed the way it appears to be. There is time enough for those who know standing with Israel is the right and noble thing to do to drown out these voices, I think. I hope.
