Ok. Admittedly, I have wanted to write about the Obama Chef drowning, but also have wanted to be respectful of the fact a man lost his life. For full disclosure, I live on a lake and was present when a man drowned not far from my dock after falling off a paddleboard. He had been drinking at a neighbor's home, did not wear a life jacket, and even though the water was not much deeper than his height, he must have become disoriented or hit his head on the board and he drowned. So, the initial facts of the Obama Chef drowning seemed less strange to me than probably others. Then, more information was released this week and it does get way more weird, for sure.

According to Judicial Watch, records obtained from the Massachusetts State Police ‘indicate’ that Obama was present for a witness interview.

Back to July when the event occurred, many were reporting the Obamas were not present.

“We have new information tonight in the drowning death of Obama’s personal chef Tafari Campbell,” Watters reported. “The Massachusetts State Police responded to our FOIA request and released their report with some redactions.”
“According to the report, Obama was on the scene shortly after Campbell went missing,” he said. “Report also states an unmanned female staffer jumped into the water when Tafari fell off his board, but it was already too late. He disappeared.”
“We also now know that Secret Service has surveillance footage of Campbell from Obama’s compound moments before he entered the water,” he continued.
“So we’re going to see if we can get that and we may have that for you. Again, we’re very, very sorry for Tafari’s family,” he said. “That was a serious, serious tragedy.”
Police records from the Edgarton, MA, Police Department obtainedearlier under the Massachusetts Public Records Law indicate the Secret Service had reported the disappearance of Tafari Campbell, who served as President Obama’s personal chef, before his dead body was later located near Martha’s Vineyard with the help of sonar technology.
The records, obtained by Judicial Watch, reveal that Campbell’s clothing was found apart from the body, and a life vest was not in use. Several other key details about the drowning incident, which occurred on July 23, 2023, in Martha’s Vineyard, were redacted.The documents made public also contain a computer-aided dispatch (CAD) incident report dated July 23:

Let me be clear. I am not claiming Obama had anything to do with this death. I also have no evidence of foul play. My only complaint is why lie? Why redact? Why wait so long to be honest with the public? This is the stuff that leads to conspiracy theories and distrust of the government. Be honest with the public and be forthright with new details. This man's death will now always have a huge question mark hanging over it and it did not have to be that way.
