Today, I was checking my Facebook memories, and this tweet I shared came up. I must have felt passionately about this tweet to share it on Facebook, generally my politics free space.
This is a damning indictment of the CDC because it demonstrates that the US is isolated in ignoring the science on masks, essentially providing a control group that is disproving its own guidance https://t.co/lntb2piNpq

Seth was right 2 years ago, and he is still right today. Why am I bringing this tweet up again 2 years later when COVID is in our rear view mirror and everyone is clearly ready to move on? This is why.
They're Really Trying To Bring Back MASKS???

Alex Jones was ridiculed last week when he broke the story that the Feds are preparing to bring back mask tyranny & other social controls. Well it turns out Jones was right. Here & there - a college, a film studio, LA County Health… pic.twitter.com/Ynyh31bSIC
Americans have had enough COVID hysteria. WE WILL NOT COMPLY! https://t.co/2lgmJQJthC

.@1881MorrisBrown college announces mask mandates, social distancing. contact tracing and isolation. This is why we must keep talking… many people have not learned. I am seeing COVID but it is mild and treatable. pic.twitter.com/v5ZgQ4T77l

Mask mandates are back for a Hollywood studio and an Atlanta area college. This is why you have to fight these mask people. They aren’t ever giving them up. They want you forced to mask again too. https://t.co/ALcn8LW70a

Morris Brown college has announced mask mandates on their college campus. A movie set has as well. Maybe they are just crazy outliers. More than likely, they are not, and many more colleges and places of business will follow suit. I am not masking again. I'm not subjecting myself to the anxiety again. I'm not forcing my beautiful daughter to cover her face and deal with painful acne as a result of the masks. The SCIENCE tells us they do not work. I will not participate in the cosplay again. I stopped playing pretend when I was a child.
At this point, I just wouldn’t go to college if they tried to make me wear a mask https://t.co/BEDPr0ImV5

These college freshmen were high school freshmen when schools initially shut down.

Their last fully normal year was 8th grade.
Meanwhile, adults have been living 100% normally for more than 2 years.
This is criminal. https://t.co/CqbUtBkdmH
Society has already disrupted the formative years for young people in so many ways during this pandemic. We stunted their speech and social emotional development cues by covering the faces of their caregivers and teachers. We took away sports and scouts and art and going to the library. We robbed them of prom and graduation. Then, we wonder why they are more medicated, more depressed and more despondent than any previous generation. My only response to that is ... 'DUH'! Too many parents were not brave enough to fight for their children and their families. I, for one, won't make that mistake again.
