Two years ago, when I was pushing back on COVID narratives and the 'vaccine that was not actually a vaccine', people told me when the truth came out, dissenters would attempt to rewrite history and pretend none of it happened. They would try to pretend schools weren't closed, proms weren't cancelled, graduations called off, mask usage wasn't enforced and grandparents left alone to die in nursing homes.
So, I expected the gaslighting to come, but maybe not quite this soon.
No, you don’t because this never happened pic.twitter.com/17AtEAZGdU

In a tweet calling for accountability, 'Moms for Liberty' founder Tina Justice, reminded readers of the atrocities COVID brought to the American family. A person who calls himself a 'journalist' decided he would call her out and basically assert she was insane.
I see some people who could better spend $8 need to learn the difference between inconvenience and tyranny.

People dying with no loved ones by their side, the inability to properly bury and say goodbye to loved ones, and children losing years of their childhood was apparently just an 'inconvenience' to Walker.
I'm sorry, but your favorite public space being closed for a few weeks when hospitals were overwhelmed with COVID patients is not the end of liberty in America.

The myth of real lockdown in America is just that: a myth.
A few weeks? Perhaps, if you lived in Florida, Georgia or South Dakota that was your experience. For millions of Americans, it lasted much much longer than a few weeks.

There is no counter factual here where life could have continued on as normal in a global pandemic with thousands of Americans dying every day.

Pandemics suck. Denial makes them worse.
Actually, the 'counter factual' is none of it was necessary and likely we lost more people to addiction and suicide, than we saved via lockdowns. Look at a country like Sweden who took very few preventative measures. They had better outcomes with fewer restrictions.
Really. So they really didn’t arrest people for simply walking on empty beaches. They didn’t fill in skateboard parts with sand and then arrest anyone that even went to play in the sand, so I was not barred from seeing my father in hospice, was not limited to 10 people at his…

People were asked to stay home (a lot longer than the initial “2 weeks to slow the curve”).

Schools closed.
Kids homeschooled (not by choice).
Beaches closed. Parks closed.
Las Vegas casinos boarded up!
What good does it do pretending this stuff didn’t happen?

I remember they filled a skateboard parks with sand, arrested a lone paddle boarder, shelter in place orders etc, chain locked gyms, …

But maybe California doesn’t count…
Yes...yes it did happen, but I should not be shocked a 'journo' is once again trying to gaslight people. Like they did during Covid.

Apparently, these pictures and anecdotes are our lying eyes fooling us, according to Walker.
oh, I thought you were being sarcastic.
— Stef. 👨🏾💻 (@STEFisDOPE) July 21, 2023
You were 100% serious.
Wow.
Oh, this journalist is completely serious. If he was the only one, it would be less worrisome. He is not, however, as we see more and more Leftists working hard to rewrite history. Our country must refuse to forget the lessons we learned from this modern day trampling of civil liberties. You aren't the crazy one. Refuse to be shut down and don't lower your voice. Tyranny must never win again.
