Violence broke out at a “peace march” on the NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium that resulted in over 480 arrests Sunday. The protest, called “NATO Game Over”, was organized by a Belgian group called Action for Peace to protest what activists see as the transformation of NATO into a “military intervention apparatus”. No protesters entered the headquarters, according to authorities, who also said that they expected they’d release all protesters later in the evening.

This protest is likely tied to another protest planned for the NATO leadership summit scheduled for late May for which protesters have been denied a permit.
