Former Arkansas Governor and Fox News host Mike Huckabee was in the news recently because of statements he allegedly made about “trashy” women. Politico ran with the assumption that Huckabee was referring specifically to women at Fox News.
The actual statement Huckabee made could be taken any number of ways. It’s not really clear whether he’s referring to New York women as “trashy” or the behavior exhibited by both men and women in New York. Politico changed their headline to indicate that Huckabee wasn’t referring to his colleagues at Fox News but Brit Hume was clearly not impressed with the fix.
Note the chickens**t "clarification" at end of this story. Problem not Huckabee "assertion." It's Politico misquote. http://t.co/v5Fz7BZ4gh
