It’s been more than six months since the scandal at the Phoenix veteran’s hospital broke. Federal employees were doctoring records to hide mismanagement while allegations were made that veterans were dying due to delays in receiving care. After months on paid administrative leave, Sharon Helman, the director of the Phoenix VA Health Care System has been fired.
