Brandon Morse is a ‘conservatarian’ gamer and blogger. You may have seen him on The Blaze TV with Dana Loesch. He’s a strong advocate of the group that’s come to be known as GamerGate—who argues against ethical lapses in video game journalism and against authoritarian political correctness being forced upon the video game industry. Anita Sarkeesian is one of the primary “social justice warriors” against whom the GamerGate movement formed. Brandon was not pleased to pick up a copy of Game Informer magazine and see Sarkeesian featured prominently.

@TheBrandonMorse @FacileGoose First Rolling Stone covered the Boston Bomber, now this. Looks like print media norms are shitposting, too.

I'm just surprised she was able to name two games to "fall in love" with. pic.twitter.com/kiyO9KlCp9

@TheBrandonMorse I doubt she's played any games since the 90's.

@TheBrandonMorse especially as in 2010 she stated on video that she didn't play games and had to learn about them for her thesis

Calling bullshit on the first part, but it's more terrifying to think your vids are being discussed with children. pic.twitter.com/GofU0f1yY5

@TheBrandonMorse Some people insist that other people create things for them and refuse to do anything but bitch about not having it already
— CasualSlacks (@CasualSlacks) November 19, 2014
This is a great point. Some people want new things to exist so they endeavor to create them. Then there are those who want new things to exist so they seek to force others into creating them, arguing that it is an injustice that they have not already done so. The former is a pure creative motive. The latter is more about desire to control others than about creating.
Hi @gameinformer. Any chance you’ll do an interview with someone directly opposed to Anita Sarkeesian’s views in the near future?
— Brandon Morse (@TheBrandonMorse) November 19, 2014
That would be what a real journalist would do, wouldn’t it?

I’ve seen harder questions lobbed at Obama than the softballs they throw at @femfreq.
— Brandon Morse (@TheBrandonMorse) November 19, 2014
Think about it. The hardest question @femfreq has ever been asked was “can you name 3 (video games).”
Still waiting on that answer.

I’m about this close to seeking employment in the vidya journalism industry.
