New South Wales Police and the Australian Federal Police jointly raided multiple locations in the Sydney suburbs. Some reports say that the suspects may be linked to ISIS and may have been planning terrorist attacks within Australia.

A police operation is currently underway in Sydney’s northwest suburbs this morning as a result of a joint counter-terrorism operation involving the NSW Police and Australian Federal Police (AFP).
The arrests follow the execution of a number of search warrants across Sydney’s north-west suburbs early today.
The operation involves officers from Australia Federal Police and the NSW Police Force.
Police executed search warrants across Sydney this morning in Beecroft, Bellavista, Guildford, Merrylands, Northmead, Wentworthville, Marsfield, Westmead, Castle Hill, Revesby, Bass Hill and Regents Park.
The operational activity is ongoing at this time.
