Congress joins Code Pink's #CloseGitmo hashtag slacktivism

He IS doing something about it. He’s holding a piece of paper with a hashtag on it!

Congressman John Conyers (D-MI) knows a thing or two about prisons, assuming that he visited his wife during her incarceration for taking bribes as a Detroit City Councilman. Now he’s joining with Code Pink to advocate for closing the military prison at Guantanamo Bay.

Congressman Jim Moran (D-Anger Management) joined in the fun as well.

Gitmo personnel are packing their stuff right now.
