Former Kansas front man John Elefante has released an emotional new video for his pro-life song, “This Time.” The Grammy-winning singer shares the moving story of his adopted daughter’s birth and hopes his personal experience can influence a culture that often presents abortion as the default.
“I can’t imagine life without my daughter, Sami, and it just breaks my heart that pregnant young women much like her birth mother, instead of choosing life for their babies, are denying them the chance to be born,” Elefante said. “If our song can in any way bring attention to this issue and encourage those who are considering abortion to choose life through options such as adoption, then we couldn’t be happier.”
Elefante also hopes his single will bring attention to Online for Life, a nonprofit outreach group dedicated to “providing comprehensive care to abortion-determined women and men in their deepest time of need.”
Greg Gutfeld predicts the media reception to Elefante’s unapologetic pro-life statment:
a video an entire media will likely mock. http://t.co/0VVy4yXz0p

Indeed, after the video received coverage at left-wing outlets like The Huffington Post, Elefante says he’s had to contend with an influx of “horrific” YouTube comments.
Friends, I really need you guys to thumbs down some of the profane and sometimes horrific comments in the video “This Time” YouTube comment section. Feel free to post your positive comments like you have posted on my FB page.
But so far, those trolls are easily balanced by a heartening show of support.
@greggutfeld Powerful.

Love this song/video by the lead singer of Kansas. Wrote it for his adoptive daughter whose birth mother chose life. http://t.co/mEYjtpbhV0
