He’s got the whole world, in his quote. He’s got the whole wide world, in his quote.

No, really. During his visit to Sweden, Obama said, “I didn’t set a red line,” on Syria. “The world set a red line.”
Asked about Syria: Pres Obama says "I didn't set a red line. The world set a red line" against chemical weapons use.
— Mark Knoller (@markknoller) September 4, 2013
The world.
So basically we all took the "red line" comment on #Syria from @BarackObama out of context or something?
— Marc T Grove (@MarcTGroveSr) September 4, 2013
Yep. Before, when Obama said chemical weapons use in Syria was a “red line,” it was an “off the cuff” remark we should disregard. Now, it was the world’s red line. Apparently words don’t matter.

"I didn't set a red line." WTFWTFWTF
— Greg Pollowitz (@GPollowitz) September 4, 2013
He had no relations with that red line.
— Ramesh Ponnuru (@RameshPonnuru) September 4, 2013
The world – not Obama – set a red line is now the official White House talking point.
— Eric H. (@ericinva) September 4, 2013
It’s almost as if, he just lies or something. RT @CNBC: President Obama: "I didn't set a red line. The world set a red line."

So we're going to go to war to defend the credibility of a comment Obama won't take responsibility for.

I guess it depends on what your definition of red line is.

"This was not the red line I knew."
— Rick Wilson (@TheRickWilson) September 4, 2013
Obama's red line answer makes him sound like one of the clowns busted on Cops. "That ain't my red line. I don't how that got there."

Let me be clear: Sasha snuck into the Oval Office with her crayon and she's responsible for the red line. Ask @msnbc. They saw it.
— Greg Pollowitz (@GPollowitz) September 4, 2013
And it’s not his credibility on the line, natch.
President Obama: Congress' credibility is on the line.
— Sharyl Attkisson?️♂️ (@SharylAttkisson) September 4, 2013
Obama says he never set a red line, his credibility isn't "on the line," but the international community and Congress's credibility is.
— Vince Coglianese (@VinceCoglianese) September 4, 2013
O: Not my red line, the world's red line. Not my credibility, the world's credibility. Not my fault, the world's fault.
— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) September 4, 2013
Congress will lose credibility if they don't give me a rushed vote on my war that I will completely ignore. Or something.
— David Burge (@iowahawkblog) September 4, 2013
So, how ’bout it, lapdogs?
Gonna guess the press corps won't jump on the "I didn't set a red line" lie. Already seen it called a "new answer," which is creative.
— Matt Exotic (@MattCover) September 4, 2013
Same as it ever was.

If we had a real media, Obama playing loose with the facts on this "red line" business would launch a thousand articles bashing him.

Not holding our breath.
