As Twitchy reported earlier, hospitals announced a need for blood donations to treat people injured in the explosion of a West, Texas, fertilizer plant.
There was an amazing turnout as Texans rose to the occasion to help those in need. Hundreds of people stood on line in the rain at Carter BloodCare in Waco, Texas.

Due to the amazing turnout, the need for blood has been met for now, according to Carter BloodCare.
Since the tragic explosion of the fertilizer plant in West, the blood supply needs for area hospitals have been met.
