Magpul blasts 'tricky wording' in Denver Post mag ban poll, asks Second Amendment supporters to vote

Gun accessory manufacturer Magpul Industries announced it would leave Colorado if Gov. Hickenlooper signs the ban on magazines that hold more than 15 rounds.

The Denver Post is running a poll on the measure and Magpul has some criticisms.

Hit this Denver Post poll “For” overturning HB1224. Not only did DP use some tricky wording in the question, but the “for” side magically lost 20% of ground between midnight and 6am…meaning either the anti-gunners are night owls, or someone is running a script to skew the results. Read and answer carefully. We hope the Gov isn’t using a newspaper poll to influence his decision, but just in case…

It looks like Second Amendment defenders are answering Magpul’s call for help. As of 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, 56.85 percent of voters say they would vote to overturn the bill, 42.84 percent would uphold it and .303 percent are undecided. Over 60,000 votes have been tallied.
