Earlier today, President Obama assigned a task to his twitter followers: “Share a story about how a teacher, firefighter, or police officer has helped you or your family.” The result was predictably hilarious.
Now, Obama for America and the Democratic National Committee are doubling down on the “Romney wants to fire teachers, cops, and firefighters” meme, sending coordinated tweets about the presidential candidate’s supposed plan to disband all government institutions.

The DNC tweeted out what it thought was a hilarious play on a handful of spelling errors that turned up among thousands of words of text that have been written and released by the Romney campaign so far in this cycle:
These are the people who want to fire teachers? #Amercia pic.twitter.com/lQBtr5Vp

Never mind that if the RNC purposely misspelled Obama’s name on a fake document – even if the opposition campaign had already done so, as Romney did with Reagan – all the race cards would come flying out of the deck faster than you could say “cool.”
