In response to a tweet published by Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Oregon), radio host Hugh Hewitt illustrates the difference between Senate Democrats’ words and actions regarding climate-related measures.
If this was true Senate Ds would have stripped everything out of #BBB except climate-related measures and added in a huge subsidy for nuclear power plants and research. Voters are not stupid Senator. They don’t agree w/ you, and the actions of the @SenateDems belie your urgency. https://t.co/icmk1ggtjH

Merkley declares that the so-called Build Back Better agenda not passing would amount to a “climate disaster.”
That we still don’t have 50 votes tells you how far we’ve fallen. Losing Build Back Better would be a climate disaster. We must power everything with renewable energy. I won’t stop fighting for this vision.

Democrats have shown a willingness to use intimidating rhetoric containing the buzzword “climate” in an attempt to pass a socialist agenda.
