Director, screenwriter and playwright Aaron Sorkin, who is a longtime leftist, gave some advice to the newest members of the Democratic Congressional delegation:
“I really like the new crop of young people, who were just elected to Congress. They now need to stop acting like young people. It’s time to do that.”

This did not sit well with one of those young Democrats, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Her contempt for Sorkin’s advice is another example of the power struggle that is on display within the Democratic Party.

While it may appeal in the Bronx, many on the Left are starting to understand that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s approach has little hope of ever being accepted on a national level.
