ABC reporter Sarah Frostenson put out a stat from ABC News showing that Elizabeth Warren’s actual and expected result in her own Senate election was 15 points to the negative.
Warren is the first big name for 2020, but I find her underperformance as an incumbent in 2018 really worrisome. If you're losing support among your own constituency how can you win the country? https://t.co/SkvUVX7Iel pic.twitter.com/Dux7ZfeBKU

A thing for which Frostenson was attacked because how dare someone criticize the latest Democrat to announce a 2020 run.
This is so bonkers it’s ruining a brand. Stop with fake takes for clicks. https://t.co/TqZhwevGqv

Is this serious? No wonder Trump won https://t.co/iesmctDLji

point of order, Warren increased her vote share from 2012 to 2018. That's the opposite of losing support. https://t.co/71mO1q9nVW

She was running against an incumbent senator, Scott Brown, in 2012, as opposed to her being the incumbent in 2018.
Huge difference.
This isn't the college football playoff; you don't get bonus points in your ranking for margin of victory. (And it was still a blowout!) She wisely shepherded her funds. Sheesh. https://t.co/Ea0SzJxVyJ

This is so damn silly. Since 1970, only Ted Kennedy (1976, 2000) has been +39 or better in a contested #mapoli senate race. If your model says anyone should win a #masen seat by 39 points, then your model is daffy. https://t.co/8JYvh3dEQz

It couldn’t be because someone like Warren just isn’t very popular or likable.
It has to be something more sinister, like rightwing media.
it’s possible that Warren’s approval ratings will sink her, but analysis like this ignores the fact that she is and has been a primary target of right-wing media moreso than her putative competitors https://t.co/TGjUESdivF

Or sexism.
By having a large number of people substitute enthusiasm for gender for comprehension of policy. https://t.co/KzMNj1pCXY

Keep in mind the Boston Herald has already told Warren not to run because she is not popular.
NAUXCAHONTAS: Did the Boston Herald just declare Elizabeth Warren’s presidential aspirations to be OVER? https://t.co/ryAkPFiW8n

Meanwhile, Warren is laser-focused on improving her numbers with cringe-worthy attempts at trying to look like the average American.
ICYMI ==> Oh ‘the CRINGE’! Elizabeth Warren’s attempt to be relatable for 2020 has earned a not-so-coveted comparison https://t.co/putDLXYcUM

With stuff like that and failed DNA tests, it’s impossible to imagine why she would be losing support.
