In the midst of lavishing praise on his boss and the administration, White House chief of staff Denis McDonough said he is so proud that the Obama administration has been “historically free of scandal.”
.@Denis44 McDonough says the thing he's most proud of is that Obama is ‘historically free of scandal’ #CNNsotu https://t.co/Mj6Tc5xJiF

Mr. chief of staff, have you ever heard of Benghazi, Fast and Furious, the IRS targeting the Tea Party, or a Secretary of State illegally using a private email server? And those are just the highlights. It is clear that Obama and his administration don’t view those scandals as major issues.
The utter lack of self-awareness embodied here is truly outrageous. Start with #IRS admitting it targeted conservative groups @Denis44 https://t.co/uu51grBc6s

This is Obama's legacy no accountability. Fast and furious, IRS, Benghazi HRC's private server, hacking all happened under his watch. https://t.co/m93L4u9T46

The American people awaited a veracious explanation of what happened to the four Americans who died in Benghazi, Libya. Instead, the administration provided a lot of deception and obfuscation. The American people were also well aware of the conservatives whose lives were thrown into chaos as a result of IRS targeting. And yes, those were reasons why the electorate turned against a former member of Obama’s administration on November 8th.

CNN is having such a difficult time avoiding fake news.
