. . .now, that would be welcome news but the new Los Angeles Schools superintendent said the outdoor mask mandate will stay in place for now:

What more does he need to end it?!
In one of his first moves as Superintendent, Albert Carvalho announces that Los Angeles Unified students will continue to mask OUTDOORS at school…even though the state and the county say that is not required.
He says a change could come as soon as next week. https://t.co/cbNsIrbYsZ

But it’s worse than that. . .
At his previous job as the head of Miami-Dade Public Schools, he was often seen without a maks on:
The last school bell has rung for me as Superintendent of @MDCPS. There is a degree of heartbreak as I leave this community that I've loved for so many years. The future looks bright for the youth of Miami-Dade, & I can't wait to read about all the successes in the years to come. pic.twitter.com/dttbKCHf3u

Recommended
And here he is indoors and maskless:
I learned to be the administrator I am today at @TurnerTechHS. My best memories at @MDCPS center around students and those who have inspired them, particularly at this school where I served as Vice Principal. pic.twitter.com/rZZqFzYSI8

What a freaking hypocrite. He *knows* it’s theater but is participating anyway.
