The Los Angeles Times is out with a new editorial arguing that the school mask mandate needs to stay in place:
Editorial: Schools are doing fine with masks. Dropping mandates now would be premature (via @latimesopinion) https://t.co/ewPXuUDL3C

You see, the kids are “used to wearing masks and seldom complain” so it’s really no big deal:

What’s funny about that, however, is that Alberto Carvalho, the new school superintendent, was often spotted without a mask indoors while making the rounds in his former capacity as the head of Miami-Dade Public Schools, so we’ll have to see just how fully he embrace’s this nonsense:

The L.A. Times editorial is even crazier because of the maskless Super Bowl and NFC Championship game, which Jesse Aguilar, CTA Board of Directors, District H at California Teachers Association, seemed to really enjoy:

This California Teachers Association Board of Directors Member, Jesse Aguilar, isn’t interested in a “cautious” approach for adults, only our kids. This is Jesse Aguilar. He went to NFC championship game with 70k strangers – he is #DoneWithCovid but his Union wants kids masked. https://t.co/VOaoVhDeWL pic.twitter.com/mTUsYbwssq

Here’s the original:
Make it stop!
The CTA said no to unmasking our kids, and the Governor dutifully obliged.
This is CTA board member Jesse Aguilar.
He thinks kids should continue to wear masks.
