Kathy Griffin says that just because the one Black girl was trying to kill another Black girl with a knife it doesn’t mean the police had to shoot Makiyah Bryant to stop the murder from happening:
WARNING. How in the hell does this police officer think it’s a good idea to fire shots blindly into a group of teenagers having a fight. Yes one of them has a knife. Oh, that never happened in your school or neighborhood? She didn’t deserve to die. 16 years old. #makhiabryant https://t.co/hnimSwnG7s

Honest question: Were there a lot of people getting stabbed to death at Kathy’s high school?
“What? You never tried to stab someone to death when you were a kid?” https://t.co/9HlvNiCrMz

And is she okay with this outcome? Because that’s what was going to happen:
Yes a responsible cop would’ve allowed the girl to plunge that knife into the neck of the other girl. It’s clear we are living among total idiots https://t.co/OzIor5RkeP

Often times “literally” is used incorrectly, but NOT this time:
She was literally trying to kill another girl. https://t.co/pUrEtbiIz2

“They are going to tie themselves in knots over this one”:

Also, the officer did not shoot “blindly” FFS:
no one “shot blindly” into a group of teens. an officer shot purposely at the aggressor who was trying to stab a girl.

And that’s, again, “literally the opposite of shooting blindly”:
He didn’t shoot blindly.
He literally hit the one with the knife. The one he was trying to stop.
That’s literally the opposite of shooting blindly, you raging moron. https://t.co/FxBBge9fM9

This is where they’re going and we all know it:
Should have sent a social worker. https://t.co/kyphXnBOh8
