There’s an interesting thread going around that suggests the Green Party’s failure to get on the ballot in certain key states is what ended up giving Joe Biden enough votes to win those states:
Joe Biden is going to win Georgia, Arizona, and Wisconsin because the Green Party failed to get on the ballot in those states and I don't think this is getting discussed enough

Without the Green Party “protest” vote, these Dems probably just voted for Joe Biden:
There is absolutely .2% of the electorate in these states that is terrible enough to cast a protest vote provided the name on their ballot, who didn't because there wasn't.

Dems were successful at keeping the Green Party off the ballot in some states as well:
This proved to be a far more critical fail for the GOP than was appreciated at the time.https://t.co/YFkyOqKMEr

We even wrote about it back in September:

It’s likely President Trump would win in the House if neither candidate got 270:
And in case you were wondering, losing all 3 states would've made this a 269-269 Electoral College tie.

But would libertarians have voted for President Trump if they didn’t have a candidate? Not likely goes this theory:
To the folks saying “what about the Libertarians,” that’s different.
Most of the 2016 LP vote shifted to Biden this time, and I don’t know how the remainder would have split this year. I suspect most would have either gone write-in or left the top of their ballot blank.
