One of the stranger moments from last night’s debate was Mike Bloomberg talking about the anti-gun group Moms Demand “as if it was a wholly owned subsidiary he runs on the side”:
I like how Bloomberg spoke of Moms Demand as if it was a wholly owned subsidiary he runs on the sides.

Not that it will matter as we think his campaign his toast, but he did piss off a lot of people:
It'll probably be overlooked by most, but Bloomberg pissed off a lot of Moms Demand Action members tonight by completely ignoring them in his response to the question about gun control. It was "his organization" and his money that he went on about, not the volunteers. 1/2

Add to that the fact that Bloomberg is "renting" the Everytown for Gun Safety mailing list for the duration of the election, and you've got a growing number of pissed off female gun control advocates who feel that Bloomberg's exploited them for his own personal agenda. 2/2

Shannon Watts, who actually founded Moms Demand, didn’t tag Bloomberg in her response, but it’s obvious she’s angry and noted that all of the candidates have earned her “Gun Sense Candidate distinction,” not just Mr. Money Bags:
Hi. I started @MomsDemand and hundreds of thousands of volunteers like me make it successful every single day. And I’m grateful that every candidate on stage has our Gun Sense Candidate distinction. ??? #demdebate

And she noted that Moms Demand is partners with Bloomberg’s Everytown group, not some subsidiary or a merger:
Didn't actual MOMS start moms demand action and then they merged with Bloomberg's org?

Actually we partnered and now @MomsDemand is Everytown’s grassroots arm.
