Quid pro quo? OUT!
You see, voters are getting confused by the Latin term so pundits last week urged Rep. Adam Schiff to drop “quid pro quo” and embrace a “bribery” charge instead:
Enough with the Latin. What Trump did was bribery. YES https://t.co/phA3EL6PMq

And he listened! Rep. Schiff is now saying the president may be impeached for bribery:
NEW: Rep. Schiff, leading impeachment probe, tells @NPR Trump may be impeached for #bribery because Trump was "offering official acts for some personal or political reason."
I wrote about why bribery makes a strong impeachment case on Oct. 20: https://t.co/HAUh2qioFN

It’s weird that he didn’t use this term for the past two months and is only now embracing it as public impeachment hearing start:
NEW: Schiff says that he thinks there's a clear argument to be made that Trump committed "bribery" and "high crimes and misdemeanors" — both explicitly outlined in the Constitution as impeachable offenses — when pressuring the Ukrainian government. https://t.co/iYfnmCX9ag

He’s not fooling anyone:
‘Quid pro quo’ didn’t work, so @AdamSchiff went to ‘extortion’ but that didn’t hold water, so now corrupt moron Schiff is calling it ‘bribery’ (Biden is on video doing far far worse).
These are Soviet era “find me the man and I’ll find you the crime” tactics.#ItsACoup https://t.co/CxXqKHjwBv

So, what will they call it when this fails, too?
"Trump will be impeached because I don't like how he looks at me" will be the last line of attack.
