Federalist publisher Ben Domenech made this pretty funny joke on Twitter yesterday in response to all that Vox Union nonsense:
FYI @fdrlst first one of you tries to unionize I swear I'll send you back to the salt mine
— Ben Domenech (@bdomenech) June 7, 2019
And then Domenech was accused of violating federal labor laws by Los Angeles Times reporter Matt Pearce:
This tweet violates federal labor law! https://t.co/ET7UYT3FH4
— Matt Pearce ? (@mattdpearce) June 7, 2019
it is difficult to break the law on Twitter, but by god, it’s not impossible
— Matt Pearce ? (@mattdpearce) June 7, 2019
Pearce was not the only one to try to make more out of the joke than it really is:
It pains me to do this but we are either a nation of laws or we aren't https://t.co/TR8BJTqbl6 pic.twitter.com/L6Nhus1kcX

These humorless scolds:
All of our salt mines are in labor law sanctuary cities. https://t.co/b1EfA2YecR

You people never stop embarrassing yourselves. It would be endlessly entertaining if it weren’t so exhausting.

That’s a joke, idiot
— Andy Lancaster (@andylancaster) June 7, 2019
I don’t think it pains you to report a joke.

As humorless as your avatar… Have you ever actually talked to someone who works @FDRLST?
