The Daily Caller’s Benny Johnson is live tweeting from his American Airlines flight that landed in D.C. this afternoon and which has reportedly been stuck on the tarmac for two hours as they wait for a gate to open up:
Dear @americanair –
Been sitting on a tarmac in DC for +2 hours.
2. Hours.
The steward refuses to serve us or give us water while we wait.
You should consider revising this policy since there are multiple pregnant/sick people on this flight who are really hurting.

Closed down the bathrooms on the plane. People are deeply miserable.
Plane landed at 6:45 PM (+ 1 hour late)
It is now 9PM.
We have been sitting for +2 hours.@AmericanAir – you might consider not letting a plane depart if this is whats waiting for us when we land

This flight was supposed to get in at 6 btw.
It is now 9 pm.
3 hours after our initial arrival time.
No sign of moving to a gate.
If you're flying to DC on @AmericanAir this evening and you can cancel your trip – I highly recommend it.

American Airlines, however, doesn’t seem to understand that Benny is already on the ground and not leaving DC:
Weather's having a heavy impact on flights in DC, but we're working to takeoff ASAP. We'll check on the status, if you DM your flight info.

And here’s what it looks like at Dulles airport right now:

We’ll keep you posted and let you know when/if Benny ever gets off the plane.
