CBS News reporter Errol Barnett just happened to be on the same commercial flight from Washington, D.C. to New York City with Ivanka and Jared Kushner on Tuesday and he thought it would be a good time to ask the pair some questions:
Meanwhile:
Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are on my flight from DC to NY, ushered on board by the secret service.
If they answer any of my Q’s, I’ll let you know…

But the Secret Service was having none of that and blocked Barnett from speaking with Ivanka and Jared as they were leaving the plane, saying there’s a “time and place” for questions”:
Jared Kushner did not answer my question and the secret service informs me, while obscuring my phone, that despite identifying as WH press, there is a “time and a place” for questions.
It is unclear when and where that is. pic.twitter.com/KRzlj3hrqw

The Secret Service is now investigating:

Barnett’s point, which he made on TV this morning, is that Ivanka and Jared do not make themselves available for questions, so why shouldn’t he be able to inconvenience all of the other passengers:
“The Secret Service Agent .. said ‘I don’t care who you are, and there is a time and a place.’ And what’s key about this is, what is the time and place to ask Jared Kushner a question? He does not make himself available and there are so many more questions we have” –@errolbarnett pic.twitter.com/WYZVsd4rwj

We’ll let you know if/when the Secret Service releases the result of its investigation.
