At this point we can’t tell if the Mayor of London’s twitter feed is a parody account or not. Check out his latest demanding gender equality on Wikipedia:
The vast majority of Wikipedia editors are men – and just 17% of its biographies are of women. We’re calling on Londoners to help us redress this gender imbalance and ensure women’s stories are fully represented online https://t.co/Q98QoJFEH2 #BehindEveryGreatCity

So, the mayor wants more women working for free? That will make it equal?
I consider the fact that Wikipedia editors trend heavily male a credit to womankind https://t.co/N4MdAoQtUq

"Why aren't there more women Wikipedia editors" is an interesting take considering Wikipedia editors are basically rubes who work for free.

And how exactly does he expect to fix Wikipedia on gender equality among articles when the “bulk of humanity did/currently does live in heavily patriarchal societies”?
As for 17% of its biographies being of women, I guess I wonder what they think the ideal percentage should be? Wikipedia reflects reality, and the reality in that the bulk of humanity did/currently does live in heavily patriarchal societies.

He should focus on more important things, like the city’s murder and crime rate:
I think the women in London would be much better off and would feel more equal if you focused on the rape problem https://t.co/LzaZnliNlA

74 murder investigations in London this year and Sadiq's worrying about who edits Wikipedia.
Absolutely mental. https://t.co/dmPJQkUrxw— Tim Dawson (@Tim_R_Dawson) June 12, 2018
Good to know London has solved all its problems so they can focus on important garbage like this. https://t.co/aaB7zXrxYX
