Sarah Quinlan, a contributor to our sister site RedState, is stranded in Maryland after the MegaBus she was riding to D.C. inexplicably stopped in White Marsh and told passengers to find their own ride to the nation’s:
@megabus I paid for a bus ticket from NYC to DC, but our bus driver just told us that when he lets us off in White Marsh, MD, he can’t continue to take us to DC and we need to arrange for transportation?

And we do mean stranded as MegaBus isn’t providing a new bus:
@megabus I don’t normally complain on Twitter about or to corporations, but this seems outrageous. I paid for transportation from NYC to DC. How can you leave me stranded in an entirely different state?

Apparently @megabus isn’t providing one!!! We’ve been told to arrange our own transportation from White Marsh.

Josh Perry, who is with Sarah on the bus, reports that the driver is “livid” over having to abandon the passengers…
And the driver is LIVID.

…but his suggestion is for passengers to contact the media in the hope of getting a new bus:
We’ve never heard of anything like this, but good luck, guys.
Update: Here’s why:
The bus driver is apparently over his hours (there was a horrific accident on I95 near Newark), so he can’t continue to DC like he was supposed to.

Update 2: Help is on the way:
GOOD NEWS: a bus from Philly arrived and we were about to get on! Sadly we were supposed to arrive in DC an hour ago
