By now you’ve heard that white nationalist leader Richard Spencer is set to speak this afternoon at the University of Florida:

But if the Alligator Brewing company in Gainesville has anything to say about it, Spencer will give his speech to an empty venue. The brewery is offering to exchange a free beer for every two tickets brought in to the bar. “This is our town. This is our community. And this is how we’re going to shut. Him. Down.”
From the brewery:
“This is our town. This is our community. And this is how we’re going to shut. Him. Down.”
Richard Spencer has a right to free speech. The people of @AlligatorBrew do, too, and they’ve figured out how to undermine that evil q-tip! pic.twitter.com/9DmC16uytz

Except Spencer and his merry band of misfits got wind of this awesome plan and will not distribute tickets on the day of the event, meaning today, starting at shortly before the speech. That doesn’t mean you can’t still get tickets in exchange for free beer, but it’s just a little more challenging:

So, they think they’ll just give away the tickets right before the speech and everything will go fine? Yikes. Something tells us this could go sideways right quick:
