WATCH: Life imitates 'The Naked Gun' as Indiana cop shoots at actor filming a robbery

One of the funnier scenes from the 1988 film “The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!” was when bumbling detective Frank Drebin had to explain to the mayor why he shot five actors by accident during a performance of Shakespeare-in-the-Park. In case you’ve never seen the film, here’s the quote:

Anyway, life imitated art in Indiana where body-cam footage caught the moment an officer fired his weapon at an actor who was filming a robbery scene for a movie. The actors did not inform local cops of the production, which they were supposed to do. Luckily nobody was hurt.
